Prainha - Itacaré(BA)

praia de surfe

Good for surfing

The famous Prainha Itacaré entitled as one of the most beautiful beaches of Brazil, is located near the beach of Ribeira. To reach it, you must come by a trail from the beach of Ribeira, by a natural dam, pass a bridge surrounded by lots of greenery. It is recommended to go to the beach accompanied by tour guides, as there are several challenges. It is an ideal walk for fans of adventure, as there are wooden bridges suspended in the air, in the woods, waterfalls and streams to own a beautiful freshwater bath. In addition, there is also a natural lookout where visualizes the whole beach, which is filled with stones, two hills and sensational sea views. It's a long way down to the beach, but worth it. The sand is a little dark, full of traces of dry branches. Already the sea quite busy, so it is a beach frequented by surfers. There is a large house waterfront that makes up the scenery of this beach. But there is no nearby restaurants and kiosks, only a few stalls that serve coconut water and natural juices.
