On this beach there is a colony of traditional fishermen in Niteroi, whose boats and trawlers are docked there. Surrounding the beach found several seafood restaurants offering a varied menu of choice with sea delicacies you trade by local fishermen. The sea is not suitable for swimming, because it is one located in Guanabara Bay and it is not always clean. The church of San Pedro is right on the edge of this beach and every year traditionally is a maritime procession in honor of the patron saint of fishermen who always takes place on 29 June. Jurujuba
