The edge of Solemar Beach has a beautiful landscaping full of small flower gardens. Overlooking the Serra do Mar, the site features a popular gym, banks, bike lanes and kiosks. The sea has choppy waves and are ideal for surfing and angling. For bathing it is important to be aware of water conditions by notices left by the Environmental Sanitation Technology (CETESB). Nearby there are many summer homes that are filled during the holidays, but during the off season the streets are calm.
