The island of Comandatuba is located in the municipality of Una, Bahia and it has a beach with the same name. From the Comandatuba village, to have access to the island, you need to cross by boat. Visitors can see the beautiful preserved vegetation of the Atlantic Forest and the fresh river during the crossing. To dock at the pier, the visitor is confronted with a huge garden surrounded by palm trees near the kiosks and beach huts. Part of the sand is covered by vegetation, but on the beach, there is no trace of it. The sand is white and soft and the waves are strong. The beach is a bit deserted and large, great for holding hiking, but the biggest attraction of the island is the presence of one of the most famous resorts and luxosos coast of Bahia, which became one of the sights of the place.
